About Course

(Lesson 1 – Your First AI Interaction)

Tools Used: ChatGPT and Gemini
Lesson Objective:- By the end of this lesson, you will:
i) Understand what AI interaction actually looks like
ii) Know how to properly use ChatGPT and Gemini
iii) Learn why most beginners fail (and how to avoid it)
iv) Successfully generate your first useful AI output
v) Learn how to use ChatGPT professionally to prompt and edit
This lesson is critical. If you get this right, everything else in the
course becomes easier.

Before we touch the tool, you need a simple mental model.
When using AI, you are not “searching” like Google.
You are: Giving instructions to a highly capable assistant
This assistant does not think independently
Does not “know what you mean” unless you explain it
Responds based entirely on your input
And the quality of your input determines the quality of your output.

a) How to open and use ChatGPT

Step-by-Step Process:
1. Go to the ChatGPT website or app
2. Log in to your account
3. You will see:- A text box (this is where you type)- A response area (where AI answers)
That’s it. No complexity.
What the Interface Means:
The text box = where you give instructions
The response area = where AI delivers results
Think of it like texting a very smart assistant.

b) Understanding prompts vs responses

This is where most beginners misunderstand everything.
What is a Prompt? A prompt is: The instructions you give to AI
Example of a prompt:
“Explain AI like I’m 12”
What is a Response?
A response is the output an AI gives based on your instruction.
The Relationship goes like this:
You -> Give instruction (prompt)
AI -> Generates answer (response)
Key Insight:
AI is not “smart” in the way you think.
It is:- Pattern-based- Instruction-following
So if your instruction is weak… your result will be weak

c) Why vague inputs fail

Let’s look at a common beginner mistake.
Bad Prompt:
“Tell me about business”
What happens?- AI gives a generic, boring answer- Nothing actionable- Nothing specific
Improved Prompt:
“Give me 10 beginner-friendly online business ideas that require no
technical skills and can be started with less than $100″

Now you get:- Specific ideas- Usable direction- Clear value
The Rule You Must Remember:
Vague prompts create vague results. Clear prompts create useful
results.
Practical Walkthrough:
Now, we have finished analysing the whole theory parts of these AI
tools, ChatGPT and Gemini. Go to the Video section for the practical
aspect of it. Do not forget that you will have a mandatory quiz at the
end of this course, which is going to be practical.
So do not desist from learning the practical. This is where you will
learn the advanced use of these two capable AI tools. Head on to the
video tutorial of MODULE ONE:- VIDEO TUTORIAL HERE

See you in MODULE TWO.
